About The Aliens Saga:

Alien is the first part of the Alien Saga, It was directed by Ridley Scott and starred Sigourney Weaver (Ripley)and Tom Skerrit (Dallas). It takes place on a commercial towing vehicle, called the Nostromo, hauling a refinery full of 20,000,000 tons of ore. On their way back to earth the ship's computer, Mother, wakes them up about half way there. They set down on planet LV-426, an unserveyed planet, to investigate an alien transmission. When they get there they find a ghost ship filled with eggs from an unknown species. Kane (John Hurt) investigates the eggs. In the egg he looks at is a parasite which grabs his face.
When they get back to the Nostromo they realize that the parasite has a tube down Kane's throat and appears to be feeding him oxygen. In about 24 hours the parasite falls off and dies. Later when the crew is eating dinner Kane (no relation to the citizen) goes into convulsions and a small snake-like creature bursts out of his chest. The thing grows into an Alien about 8ft tall and stronger than any man. Ripley finds out Ash is an android sent to make sure that the crew gets the alien, Ash (Ian Holm) tries to kill (Rape?)Ripley, but Parker (Yaphet Kotto)saves her ass with a rather large pipe.
Their plan of flushing the alien out of the airlock didn't work and they are down to just three people, Lambert (Veronica Cartwright), Parker, and Ripley. They decide to blow up the ship and use the Narcisuss shuttle to escape the alien. As Parker and Lambert collect coolant the alien strikes killing them both, Ripley was preparing the shuttle. Ripley decides to go through with her plan anyway and destroys the ship. The alien, however, was no longer on the ship, but in the shuttle. Ripley blows the alien out of the airlock and goes into her peaceful sleep of 57 years...
Aliens is the 2nd part of the alien trilogy, and is written and directed by James Cameron. In this film Ripleys shuttle is discovered 57 years later by a deep-space salvage team. They bring Ripley to Gateway Station. Ripley after a long discussion with Van Owen and other board members gets her pilots liscence taken away for her actions on the Nostromo.
3 weeks later Carter Burke (Paul Riser) and Gorman (don't know actors name) inform Ripley that the company (Weyland Yutani) has lost contact with their colony on LV-426. They asked Ripley to come with a squad of marines as an expert on the alien, after a day or so, she agrees. When they get there, via dropship (or maybe its the "express elevator to hell"), they find no signs of life (if you are watching the directors cut they find a hamster), except a little girl named Rebecca Jorden. The marines go into the alien hive to find survivors but get ambushed, and only 3 survive (Hicks, Hudson, and Vasquez). After these events they decide to nuke the site from orbit but, when the dropship is coming in, the pilot is killed by an alien. The d-ship explodes and ruptures the atmosphere proscesser core. It will explode in about 3 hours.
